A vehicle overlanding experience focused on Post-Traumatic Growth and camaraderie across the 7 hour plan crash route.
This is a vehicle-based overlanding trek — focused on vehicle teamwork, tactical camaraderie, and shared convoy training.
Raw convoy documentation of the 7‑Mile Plane Crash route, detailing key landmarks (including the historic plane wreck), vehicle handling notes across loose scree and steep grades, and convoy tactics for safe approach, staging, and recovery operations.
A 7‑hour vehicle overland plane‑crash route designed for organized 4x4 convoys, featuring technical off‑road sections, narrow tracks, and managed staging points. This route is intended for convoy operations with PTG group support, vehicle‑to‑vehicle communications, planned regrouping locations, and an emphasis on camaraderie and mutual aid.
Rigs should be high‑clearance 4x4s with off‑road tires, reinforced recovery points, and proper underbody protection. Recommended gear includes a winch or rated recovery straps, D‑shackles, shovel, air compressor, spare parts, and vehicle‑specific protections (skid plates, snorkel) for convoy reliability.
Mandatory pre‑drive briefings, an agreed recovery plan, and verified emergency communications are required for all convoy participants. Each vehicle must carry basic recovery equipment, a first‑aid kit, and spare‑parts strategy; recovery procedures and crew roles will be reviewed before departure.
Enjoy a guided overlanding adventure led by an experienced Trail Boss and Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG) Instructor, combining epic exploration, meaningful connection, and opportunities for personal growth and restoration.
