Rocky, remote and majestic are three words that come to mind for Arizona. Blessed with a surprising number of mountain ranges, the Arizona BDR is more green and mountainous than many people expect. Starting on the US/Mexico border, the 750- mile route stays east of Tucson and Phoenix and explores the historic Empire Ranch, Mogollon Rim, Saguaro Cactus Forests, Navajo Nation, wild horses, Vermillion Cliffs and options to see the Grand Canyon from vantage points most people never see.
Must be one or more of the following:
*Veteran or Active Duty Military
*Military Reservist or National Guard
*Law Enforcement
*Firefighter
*EMS
*911 Dispatch
*Homeland Security or Boarder Patrol
This route offers an incredible mix of terrain and scenery, taking us from rugged rocky desert trails to lush green mountain landscapes. With constantly changing views and ever-changing weather conditions, this trail system never disappoints. Due to the remote and challenging nature of the route, a high-clearance 4x4 is required along with extra fuel, recovery gear, and the ability to adapt to changing trail conditions.
To help create a more personal and meaningful experience, we are limiting this trek to just 5 participants and their +1s. Our goal is not only to provide an unforgettable off-road adventure, but also an opportunity for healing conversations and connection around the campfire each evening.
