Homeward for Heroes is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering veterans, first responders, and their families through outdoor adventure, community, and purpose. We believe healing happens beyond four walls—on the trail, around the campfire, and through shared experiences that rebuild connection and resilience. From guided treks and off-road expeditions to local events across Montana, Arizona, Oregon, and Minnesota, our programs are designed to combat isolation, support mental wellness, and create lasting bonds among those who have served. Homeward for Heroes is an exceptional non-profit dedicated to supporting military veterans by offering unique, life-changing adventures and essential resources. After graduating in 1977, Bob spent 20 years in the Air Force, serving in 19 countries and retiring on the F-117 Stealth.
