As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Homeward For Heroes is dedicated to serving veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their spouses. Your engagement with us, whether through donations, program participation, or purchases, directly supports our mission.
Services and Products
Our primary mission is to serve veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their spouses through meaningful programs, including 3-10 day treks designed to help participants reconnect and build community with others in similar circumstances. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to giving back to those who have given so much to serve.
In addition to these charitable services, we offer a range of custom-made products available for purchase through our online store. Every purchase directly supports our mission, helping us continue providing these valuable programs to those who need them most.
While we strive to maintain the availability of our programs and services, we cannot guarantee their continuation as they are dependent on resources and funding.
Payment Terms
We accept payments through Stripe, PayPal, and major credit cards. Payment must be completed at checkout, and orders will not proceed without confirmation.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs and any applicable taxes, which will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We do not store payment information; all transactions are securely processed through trusted third-party gateways.
Order Fulfillment
All products in our store are custom-made to order, reducing waste and ensuring sustainability. Orders are processed and shipped within the United States only. Delivery timelines may vary based on production schedules and shipping conditions, but most orders are expected to arrive within 12–18 business days after payment confirmation.

Returns and Refunds
Due to the custom-made nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. This approach reduces waste and helps us focus resources on our mission.
Refunds are only available for items that arrive defective or damaged. Customers must contact us within 14 days of delivery and provide evidence of the issue (e.g., photos). Refunds will be processed within 30 days of approval.
For other concerns, we offer a 50% off coupon, valid for 90 days, to be used on any product in our store. Every purchase directly supports our mission to serve veterans, and we appreciate your understanding of this policy.
Product Descriptions and Images
We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and images on our website. However, due to the custom-made nature of our items and Printful’s production processes, slight variations in color, design placement, or material may occur.
These differences are part of the unique character of each item and do not qualify as defects. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these potential variations.
Third-Party Services
To fulfill orders and provide the best possible service, we partner with trusted third-party providers, including Printful (among others), for product production and shipping. These partners handle specific aspects of the fulfillment process, such as manufacturing, packaging, and delivery.

- Delays caused by third-party providers, including Printful, or shipping carriers.
- Minor variations in product appearance due to the custom-made nature of items.
- Losses or damages beyond our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the item in question.
Resolution of Disputes
In the event of a dispute, customers agree to resolve the matter through informal negotiation first. If the issue cannot be resolved informally, mediation or arbitration may be pursued as a next step.
Legal action should only be taken as a last resort. All disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Montana.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Homeward For Heroes, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to cancel orders or terminate accounts in cases of misuse, fraudulent activity, or violations of these Terms.
