Minnesota Chapter

The Minnesota chapter was founded in 2024 by Jason Montana.

Set in remote locations, these treks promote physical wellness while fostering a strong sense of community and support among participants.

By including loved ones, Homeward for Heroes ensures the journey extends beyond the individual, offering shared experiences that strengthen relationships and create lasting memories.

These events are a testament to our commitment to honoring and supporting those who serve.

Minnesota Chapter Leader

Jason Montana, father of 5, and grand father of 8. Spent 22 years in the Army and the Army National Guard (Red Bulls!!). Deployed to Panama, the Balkans - bosnia/Herzegovinian, Iraq for two years, then went back for one more year. Retired out in 2012 as a E-6/Ssg, Scouts out!!! Fell in love with Homeward for Heroes after my first trek in Montana, went back for a second one. Really the only thing I ever found wrong with this organization is the had no presence in Minnesota, so I asked if I could do something about that. Now my passion is serving my Lord and Savior and all those that serve us. I love taking folks out on overland adventures, building bonds that last, and learning what each of us goes through, and sharing how we deal with it. Veterans and firstresponders, No One Fights Alone!!!
