Minnesota Chapter
Jason Montana, father of 5, and grand father of 8. Spent 22 years in the Army and the Army National Guard (Red Bulls!!). Deployed to Panama, the Balkans - bosnia/Herzegovinian, Iraq for two years, then went back for one more year. Retired out in 2012 as a E-6/Ssg, Scouts out!!! Fell in love with Homeward for Heroes after my first trek in Montana, went back for a second one. Really the only thing I ever found wrong with this organization is the had no presence in Minnesota, so I asked if I could do something about that. Now my passion is serving my Lord and Savior and all those that serve us. I love taking folks out on overland adventures, building bonds that last, and learning what each of us goes through, and sharing how we deal with it. Veterans and firstresponders, No One Fights Alone!!!
This trek offers outdoor therapy through offroading, camping, kayaking, fishing and our Post Traumatic Growth Program.
Drenskapr is the Viking word for:
"The ideal of conduct for warriors, similar to chivalry"
